Imaginations of Venice. Stefanie Burkle

For over 25 years, artist Stefanie Bürkle (born 1966) has photographed Venice in all its iterations, real and replica, chronicling how the floating city has become a projection for spatial desire. This book of archival photos also includes a foldout map of her atlas Imaginations of Venice.
